We're pleased to present Health Discovery 6.13 with various new features and bugfixes.  MINOR

Highlights:

• New Feature: Localisation support for diagnosis detection (configurable on pipeline level, deactivated by default)
• New Feature: Diagnosis.subject for a more complex and informative Diagnosis.belongsTo feature
• New Feature: The feature "medication" contains two additional attributes, "dosage" and "atcCodes".
  • "atcCodes" will replace the former "atc" attribute in the future. "atc" has been set to deprecated.

We're pleased to present Health Discovery 6.10 with various new features.  MINOR

Highlights:

• Various improvements in the pathology pipeline (this component is available in german only; for more information check here):
  • Improved machine learning based detection of tumor characteristics from pathology reports
  • Extended customization capabilities regarding default values and coding rules
  • The annotator "PathologyDocumentClassification" can be configured by the following new parameters:
    • defaultTNMUnknownModifier: allows the setting of a custom string as the default value for the TNM features in the PathologyDocumentation return type if they were not extracted from the document.
    • resetTNMXValues: if activated, reset the TNM Values to the default value if the pathologist encoded an “X” value, which may not be a desired TNM value.

• New feature: Section detection in operative report enables detection of OPS (i.e. Operationen- und Prozedurenschlüssel) Concepts based on german OPS dictionary lookup. For more information check here.
• New feature: Document validator checks the input document concerning its size. The document will be ignored by the pipeline if it contains more characters than the configured threshold (by default: document size of 100000 characters). For more information, check here.

We're pleased to present Health Discovery 6.3 with various new features and bugfixes. MINOR

Highlights:

• Release of a new english Graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) annotator. 
• You can now easily analyse single documents per pipeline using the pipeline configuration.
• We greatly simplified the import of our Text Mining Typesystems in RutaEngines (Tutorial coming soon).
• It is now possible to resume long running text analysis processes after a server / container restart.
• Terminology editor redesign with many usability improvements.
• Added pipeline resource sharing between pipeline instances to reduce the memory footprint.

Resolved issues:

• Bug fix for morphology and topography codes, which were annotated twice.
• It is now possible again to use UIMA Ruta string functions in RutaEngines. 
• In Docker deployments, additionally installed JDBC drivers are retained after an upgrade.

Highlights:

• Identification of chronic diseases of ICD10-CM and ICD10-GM diagnoses, in those they receive the clinical status "CHRONIC" and are represented as active or DRG-relevant
• Initial implementation of a Portuguese DEID pipeline
• FHIR support for textanalysis API
• New batch document import API allows 10 times faster document imports for JSON documents

Resolved issues:

• Optimization of the discharge pipeline with regard to DRG-relevant diagnosis detection
• Improvement of the pathology pipeline: ML-based enhancement to increase detection of R-classification, grading, and lateral localization.
• Improvement of Daytime usage in Medications
• Bug fixes to improve various annotator performances
• JDBC drivers post-installed in Docker are not preserved after an upgrade
• Faceted-search doesn't work with the default concepts

We're pleased to present Health Discovery 5.12.X with new features and performance improvements MINOR

Highlights

• A new feature in annotator "PatientInformation" extracts a patient's death from clinical notes.
• Preconfigured pipelines can now process up to four requests from the web interface in parallel. This significantly increases throughput with a slight increase in memory requirements.
• API Token mechanism to prevent the REST API from unauthorized access
• Averbis Health Discovery is now also available as a Docker Installation. Due to the simplified installation, we recommend that customers switch to Docker when the appropriate technical requirements are met. Please refer to the Installation Manual for more information.

Note: The increase in pipeline throughput means that the system requires approximately 20% more RAM.
